For the second time this season, midfielder Jean-Marc Alexandre is heading out on loan to the Orlando City SC. With the Earthquakes eliminated from the U.S. Open Cup, Alexandre has had little opportunity to get on the pitch, so heading to Florida for another short-term loan makes sense for the fourth year MLS veteran. With just six minutes of first team playing time -- a short cameo at the end of the match at Real Salt Lake -- Alexandre needs to stay ready in case injuries or poor play from the starters necessitates his inclusion in the Earthquakes starting XI.
